SOUTH LAKES SOCIETY FOR THE BLIND
At the April meeting the group enjoyed hearing about the American experiences of Ray Fowler, a retired engineer who had spent some time working and living in the U.S.A. Catherine Hannaford was on hand to convert the talking watches and clocks to summer time and also to bring us up to date with the latest news and gadgets for visually impaired people. The group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 2.25 p.m. in the Peoples Hall. Anyone with a sight problem is welcome as are new volunteers. For information contact 21019 or Kendal 01539 742633
